On the sacred and highly auspicious occasion of Mokshada Ekadashi and Gita Jayanti, our revered H.H. Pujya Swami Asanganand Saraswatiji Maharaj peacefully left his mortal body and attained Brahmaleen, merging into the eternal Supreme Reality.
From the young age of nine, Pujya Swamiji dedicated his entire life at the holy feet of his Guru, Param Pujya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Shukdevanand Saraswatiji Maharaj. He first pursued his studies in Shahjahanpur and later came to Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh, where he spent his life in deep sadhana, teaching, and guiding countless seekers and devotees from across the world with love and compassion.
Swamiji’s life was a living example of seva, discipline, devotion, and spiritual practice. His satsangs offered wisdom, peace, and clarity, touching the hearts of all who came into his presence. His simplicity, kindness, and divine vision made everyone feel welcomed and spiritually uplifted.
Through Daivi Sampad Mandal, he dedicated himself to spreading spiritual knowledge, serving society, and protecting Sanatana Dharma. His teachings reflected the essence of Dharma, Karma, Bhakti, and Jnana, which he lived every moment of his life.
Great saints never truly leave; they continue to guide through their blessings and teachings. The divine light and legacy of Pujya Swami Asanganand Saraswatiji Maharaj will forever remain alive in the hearts of devotees and generations to come.
H.H. Pujya Swami Asanganand Saraswatiji Maharaj has devoted his entire life to spiritual service, learning, and guiding seekers on the path of Dharma. In 1945, at the young age of nine, he came to Parmarth Niketan under the loving guidance of his Guru, Param Pujya Swami Shukdevanandji Maharaj, and since then dedicated more than seven decades to the service of the ashram.
Swamiji earned Acharya degrees in Vedanta and Sanskrit Literature, along with a Master’s degree in Sanskrit. Since 1960, he has served the Sanskrit Vidyalaya of the ashram with great dedication, contributing immensely to the preservation and teaching of traditional spiritual knowledge.
Despite his deep scholarship, Swamiji is known for his simplicity and humility, often engaging himself in even the smallest acts of seva with devotion.
He serves as the Managing Trustee of the Swami Shukdevanand Trust, guiding its various spiritual and service projects with sincerity and devotion.
Through his teachings of ancient scriptures and yoga, Swamiji has inspired countless devotees, offering wisdom, spiritual clarity, and inner upliftment to all who seek his guidance.
